What Are Crystals?

You may have noticed in your profile that there is a field called 'Crystals' with a seemingly random number next to it. This is actually not random at all and is tallied by the number of posts and threads you make, in specific areas. This thread will explain to you what Crystals are, how to obtain them and what they are used for.

What are Crystals?

Crystals are the equivalent of Forum Points on GROWL's forum. You can collect them and later exchange them for In-Game benefits as a reward for your activity on the forum.

How do I obtain more Crystals?

You can obtain Crystals from replying to posts and creating threads. However, be warned some boards/categories will give you no Crystals- and some will even take away Crystals from you.

The Game & Forum Help sections will remove points if you create threads. This is an attempt to reduce the number of threads people make and encourage searching for your answer before creating more topics.

The Off-Topic areas will reward you with nothing, as they are the most frequently used boards.

Crystals can also be obtained from staff, as rewards for competitions and such.

What do I use Crystals for?

You can save up and use your Crystals for a variety of different features included Limited In-Game Items, Preset Slots, Character Size Increase, Private Items, Private Pets and many, many more.

When can I start using my Crystals?

Currently the GROWL Crystal Shop is unavailable and will not be available for some time. So start collecting and save those rocks, you'll be glad you did when the Crystal Shop is opened!
